Assistance League of Diablo Valley Return to School Scholarship

Applicants for this scholarship must be a non-traditional student or re-entry student. The applicant must be returning to school after a gap in their education or a student already in co9llege who has some gaps of a year or more in their coursework.

Assistance League of Diablo Valley shall provide funding for a scholarship to be paid half each quarter/semester to help cover tuition, books and supplies. A recipient must remain in school to complete the term following receipt of the scholarship payment and maintain an overall minimum grade point average of 2.5 for the term following receipt of the scholarship payment. All scholarship information is confidential.

Requirements for Application:

1. Student must be a high school graduate with a minimum 2.5 GPA or a GED recipient, planning to attend or currently enrolled in an accredited community college or vocational school. Applicant may also be transferring to a 4-year school from a community college
2. May not be a chapter member, the relative of a chapter member, an Assisteens member or an employee of Assistance League of Diablo Valley.
3. Resident of Contra Costa County
