Mike Truitt Memorial Scholarship

The Mike Truitt Memorial Scholarship is in memory of Mike “Bear Cub” Truitt an Antioch Police Officer who served and protected his community for 26 ½ years.

Eligibility Criteria:

•Must be accepted and currently enrolled in the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Department 202nd Basic Academy Class (graduating March 30, 2025)
•Intend to pursue a career in law enforcement
•Must maintain GPA of 3.0 or better in the academy class
•Must have a financial need
•Applicant cannot be affiliated with any sponsoring agency
