2025 AGC CEF Skilled Trades Scholarship

AGC of California’s CEF Skilled Trades Scholarship is for folks pursuing careers in construction through a post-secondary pre-apprenticeship, apprenticeship, or construction specific training programs. The amount awarded is based on the eligibility, qualifications, and the availability of funds.

Requirements:

• Open to anyone currently attending or accepted to attend a pre-apprenticeship or apprenticeship program, or trade/technical school providing education and training necessary to prepare them for a construction skilled trades career (i.e. Carpenter, Cement Mason, Laborer, Operating Engineer, Pile Driver, Electrician, etc.).
• Must show proof of enrollment in a pre-apprenticeship or apprenticeship program, or trade/technical school  (i.e. acceptance letter, email confirming acceptance, cohort/training center schedule, etc.)
• One Referral Form - Required – this form needs to be completed by an education or professional reference (no family members). References can include apprenticeship/trade school coordinator or high school educator, current or previous employer, co-worker, or mentor, etc. 
• A photo of yourself (300-dpi high resolution jpeg file)
