SME Education Foundation Scholarship

The SME Education Foundation offers 60+ scholarships and awards nearly $1 million each year. By submitting one application, you will be considered for every scholarship for which you are eligible. Awards range from $2,500 – $20,000.

The Foundation provides merit and need-based scholarships, issues renewing and one-time awards, and seeks applications from all eligible students, including but not limited to young women and underrepresented communities.

Basic Criteria:

• Must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States, Canada, or possess a student visa
• Must have minimum 2.0 GPA
• Must be pursuing an associate, bachelor’s or graduate degree in technical fields that directly support manufacturing (e.g. engineering, robotics, computer science, quality control, etc.) at an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada.
• Full-time or part-time student
