Bob Zavala “Making a Difference in the Lives of Children” Scholarship

The Bob Zavala “Making a Difference in the Lives of Children” Scholarship was created in memory of Bob Zavala, a Los Medanos Child Development Instructor.

Criteria

  • must have completed a minimum of six (6) units in Early Childhood Development
  • minimum GPA of 2.5.
  • must be continuing at LMC or transferring to a 4-year institution in fall 2024

Typed essay must address: (1) How have you touched the life of a child/children in a significant way? (2) How have you been a role model for other childcare staff, an innovator in a curriculum area, or an advocate for better working conditions? and (3) How will winning this scholarship help you meet your career and educational goals?
