Scholarships for California Women in Various Fields of Study Helping women reach for the stars!

SCHOLARSHIP CATEGORIES

• Female attending college (any field of study)
• Female attending Los Medanos College
• Female attending college to study law
• Female attending college to study medicine

AWARD

• Award amount and number of awards varies annually.
• Scholarship may be from $500 – $18,000 depending on college of attendance, available funds, or specific restrictions for a particular scholarship

GUIDELINES

• A female California resident who is studying in the U.S. or Canada
• Candidate demonstrates excellence in character, and scholastic ability
• Participates in school and community activities
• Have financial need
• Be an undergraduate/graduate student in the fall of the academic year for which they are applying
• Be a citizen or legal permanent resident of the U.S. or Canada
• Applicant does not require P.E.O. chapter sponsorship
